In case you missed it, Donald Trump released a video via youtube asking The President to show him his "papers" so to speak. The following is what Trump proposed to the president; "Now, I have a deal for the President. ... If Barack Obama opens up and gives his college records and applications, and if he gives his passport applications and records, I will give to a charity of his choice -- inner city children in Chicago, American Cancer Society, AIDS research, anything he wants, a check, immediately, for $5 million."
Well, President Obama got quite a laugh and got back at Donald Trump by mocking him and himself over citizenship claims while on Jay Leno's show.
(via USAToday) "This all dates back to when we were growing up together in Kenya," Obama joked to The Tonight Show's Jay Leno on Wednesday.
"We had constant run-ins on the soccer field." Obama added to laughter. "He wasn't very good and resented it. ... When we finally moved to America, I thought it would be over."
On a more serious note, Obama said he has never, in fact, met Trump.
Obama's riposte came as Trump offered to give $5 million to a charity of the president's choice, if he releases all his college and passport applications and records.
Trump continues to question whether Obama was born in the USA, despite a release in 2010 showing that Obama was born in Honolulu in 1961.
"If he releases these records, it will end the question and indeed the anger of many Americans," Trump says.
