It was a glamorous evening this past Saturday
night at the annual BET Black
Girls Rock extravaganza which took place at New York's Paradise Theater hosted
by
Regina King and Tracee Ellis Ross. In attendence were the likes of
Gabrielle Union, Ciara, Kerry Washington, Traci Ellis Ross, Taraji P. Henson and More!The ladies showed up and showed out!
Winners of the night included Alicia Keys with the Rock Star Award, Dr. Hawa Abdi and her daughters with the Social Humanitarian Award and Dionne Warwick honored with the Living Legend Award.
The Winner of this year's Star Power Award was the beautiful Kerry Washington with Janelle Monae being honoured at this year's ceremony and winning the award Young, Gifted and Black.
