After all the speculation over Kanye West's sex tape his lawyers have just indirectly confirmed that it does indeed exist and was apparently stolen from Kanye's computer. The lawyers have just released a statement on behalf of Kanye.
A legal document was sent to to
AllHipHop.com Lisa M. Buckley of Pryor Cashman and this is what it reads:
“Be advised that the Screen Shot, as well as the Tape from which the
Screen Shot was taken, were illegally obtained and believed to have been
stolen from Mr. West’s computer,”
“Your posting, advertising, marketing, displaying and otherwise
disseminating the stolen Screen Shot and/or other materials on the Tape
constitute actionable violations of Mr. West’s rights of privacy and
publicity,”
“We hereby demand that you: (1) immediately cease and desist from
posting, advertising, marketing, displaying and disseminating the
illegally obtained Screen Shot of Mr. West,” the notice reads.
There have already been several offers for the sex tape which range for a million dollars and more. Vivid owner Steve Hircsh who is responsible for Kim and Ray J's sex tape says this might be the biggest sex tape of all time.
“It depends on the quality of the tape, the length, the lighting, the
sex,” Hirsch said. “But something like this could go for a couple of
million dollars. I don’t think there has ever been a sex tape with a
star of this magnitude. Tommy Lee was big, but this is a different world
and Kanye is a special guy. He’s everywhere.”
