Dancehall King, Sean Paul Opens Up About Past Rumored Affair With Beyonce!


Back in 2003 Beyonce and dance hall king Sean Paul collaborated on a song that would stay #1 on the charts for 9 weeks plus. The song was "Baby Boy." The collaboration was absolutely sexy and of course with two good looking artists who wouldn't think it was?

Their collaboration however sparked rumors especially when Sean Paul did not perform "Baby Boy" with Beyonce at the 2003 MTV VMA's. At the time many speculated that Jay Z was against Sean Paul performing with Beyonce.

"It was not a big deal to me, but it really blew up into crazy stuff." the Jamaican MC told RapFix Live.
"That's a rumor that started. I've known Jay Z from before I knew her," he added.

Sean Paul also recalled a time when he met up with Jay-Z in his Roc-A-Fella office to seek advice on radio politics.

When asked why he never commented on the rumor's he admitted that there is no such thing as bad publicity.  "The general public blew it up in certain things. I just remained quiet about it for years because it was doing its work. There was just a lot of controversy," he said.

When speaking on Beyonce, the Dancehall king also added; "She's an amazing artist, the song was at number1 for like nine weeks, so that was a very special time for me and for dancehall."

So there you go folks, Sean Paul has finally spoke on his rumored romance with Beyonce.
